CADs
I made my first designs on illustrator in 2016 and have been consistently using and exploring it and photoshop to this day. Throughout my time designing, I have been responsible for making countless CADs used for both sales and effective manufacturing communications. I have only improved with time too, so I can confidently state that i have the ability to create extremely accurate and effective CADs through proficiency with the adobe suite. Due to the NDA, I will share mock up examples upon request. You can also feel free to test me by timing me while I make a CAD for one of your ideas :)

below is a very general and blurred example of a pocket details page. Obviously the below example is not the most visually detailed example due to the NDA. I have had to do every type of CAD for menswear garments and accessories. The CADs were very valuable as they are used season in and out for wholesale catalogs and critical design developments. I pride myself on how quickly and accurately I could translate an idea.

Lectra Optitex
Optitex Marker Maker and Pattern Design
Another course I took in college was TXMI 3540 CAD for Apparel Design and Production, where we studied the process of digitizing patterns, grading patterns, and creating markers to be cut. I created a hoodie pattern from scratch that I digitized and graded. There is also a Marker file that should be displayed below.

Kaledo Design Suite Work
While at UGA, I studied the Kaledo suite as a part of my TXMI 5210 Digital Apparel Design class and my research on sublimation prints under Dr.McAndrews. The course work involves understanding the program operations and mechanics of Lectra’s Kaledo – Style, Print, Weave and Knit. My research opportunity enabled me to test print designs and their properties, in addition to effectively creating a product from a mood board, to a tech pack, and then to a physical piece. Images below showcase the work that was done in the varying programs of the Kaledo Suite.
Kaledo Style
Kaledo Style focuses on creating weave designs through a plethora of customization options from the warp and fill yarn composition, construction, and color. We also used this program to make tech packs and fashion illustrations.

Kaledo Weave
Kaledo Weave focuses on creating weave designs through a plethora of customization options from the warp and fill yarn composition, construction, and color. I used the Z twist yarns in combination with S twist yarns in order create contradicting patterns that stand out, and that fit my glitch aesthetic for these pieces

Kaledo Knit
Kaledo knit focuses on creating knit designs through options like knit type, yarn composition, and color.
